American government strives for speeding up infrastructure Projects，how can promote 

the situation

In order to accelerate the state´s environmental review process of infrastracture projects the White 

House Office of Management and Budget together with its Council on Environmental Quality have 

published new guidelines.

Back in 2012 the Federal Infrastructure Permitting Dashboard was released, which gives insight 

into important and complex infrastructural projects and their current status in the permitting process.

The new guidelines are supposed to highly increase the number of projects posted to the 

dashboard.

Moreover important infrastracture projects are beeing monitored by the federal agencies involved in the permitting process. For each of these projects milestones and schedules will be established.

After the projects have passed the permitting process, other recurrend reviews on these projects

should be lowered to a minimum. Up to today this was not the case, as some infrastructural ventures

were reviewed for several times.
